About me

I'm a local beekeeper with a small apiary in my own garden. What began as a simple curiosity quickly blossomed into a passion - caring for bees, learning their rhythms, and working in harmony with nature.

My first colony came from a swarm that, by good fortune, settled in a fellow beekeeper’s garden. Since then, I’ve learned so much, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch my bees thrive.

I harvest honey from my hives and sell it locally - just as nature intended: pure, raw, and delicious. Every jar comes from bees I personally care for, and each drop captures the unique character of our local flowers and changing seasons.

When you buy my honey, you're supporting sustainable, small-scale beekeeping - and helping to protect the bees that play a vital role in feeding our planet.

If you're interested in finding out more about beekeeping, take look a my local club site and the British Beekeepers Association

Can you spot the swarm of bees in this photo?

I came across this small swarm in early May 2025 and quickly contacted a fellow club member who is a registered swarm collector.

After obtaining permission from the landowners to access the property, we safely removed the swarm.

Unfortunately, the swarm was quite small and had likely been exposed for at least three days. Despite rehoming it at my apiary, the bees sadly didn’t survive.

If you come across a swarm of honey bees, you can locate your nearest volunteer swarm collector for assistance. The sooner a swarm is rehomed, the better its chances of survival - and every colony matters for these incredible pollinators.
